January 18, 2017
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Most children get their sexual information from peers and media. Are you sure they're learning the right things? As awkward as "the talk" might be, it's important to begin a healthy dialogue with your children about HIV prevention and overall sexual health.
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), more than 1 in 5 new diagnoses in 2014 occurred in youth between the ages of 13 and 24. It's never too early to provide the knowledge necessary for your children to make healthy decisions now and in the future.
During this presentation, you'll learn:
Tips and tricks on how to appropriately begin the conversation
What information is appropriate for certain age groups
How to comfortably continue the dialogue as your child ages
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Refreshments will be provided.
Seating is limited, so please register below to secure your spot!
